Shiny stars in my restless mind
Shiny stars in my frivolous soul
Shiny stars and cloudless skies
Shiny stars, what a lovely dream
Shiny, shiny, shiny stars !
I am dancing a tango, Parisian tango
Tango, tango in the shadows
of the Eiffel Tower, the royal jewel
I am dancing a tango, Brazilian tango
Tango, tango in the Rio de Janeiro's
Copacabana Beach, the breathless ecstasy
Shiny stars in my restless mind
Shiny stars in my frivolous soul
Shiny stars and cloudless skies
Shiny stars, what a lovely dream
Shiny, shiny, shiny stars !
I lock myself in my lovely house
my castle, the castle of the lord
I am listening to music, to songs
being a prince in my dreams
a prince with purple coat and black boots
riding Amazonian wild horse
in the twilights of the night
Shiny stars in my restless mind
Shiny stars in my frivolous soul
Shiny stars and cloudless skies
Shiny stars, what a lovely dream
Shiny, shiny, shiny stars !
I reach with my hand into my mind
and pull all my desires out
which I spread around me
They seed deep into the ground
only to appear before my eyes
as fully blown golden harvest
for me and you, for you and me
Shiny stars in my restless mind
Shiny stars in my frivolous soul
Shiny stars and cloudless skies
Shiny stars, what a lovely dream
Shiny, shiny, shiny stars !
I am sitting on a wooden bench
in the New York's Central Park
While listening to the birds' serenades
I contemplate a brief history
of the philosophical thought
My mind is filled with Descartes
Montesquieu, Nietzsche, Sigmund Freud
and all other schools of advanced thought
Shiny stars in my restless mind
Shiny stars in my frivolous soul
Shiny stars and cloudless skies
Shiny stars, what a lovely dream
Shiny, shiny, shiny stars !
And then you, my beloved angel
appear before me in the nature's glow
You put your hands on my arms
whisper some words, the words of lovers
and we dance our tango yet again
the tango, whatever tango
till the early morning hours of the dawn
the mysterious everlasting dawn
when all the stars are flying
into the fully blown magnificent Sun
